Hope for the road ahead

Hi, I’m JuJu, your new friend on this scary journey.

I’ve been where you are, and I’ve felt your fear. With whatever time I’ve got on this magnificent earth, I’m devoted to helping people like you navigate pancreatic cancer or a similar diagnosis. I promise to put my journalism degree to great use, digging up answers to your questions to give you a little peace of mind. My community of PanCan best friends is here to help, too. Because, sometimes the best thing you can have on a journey like this is friends who understand how you feel.

More about me.

Old-School Tip For Getting Through Hard Things

A Note About Strength

The Whipple surgery requires an unbelievable amount of resilience. “Strength is what we gain from the madness we survive.” — Mary Ann Weir The Whipple surgery feels like madness. It’s barbaric. The recovery is lengthy and brutal. It tries to steal our energy and our confidence in ourselves. It tests every ounce of our mettle.…
